Flavor Profile

Pale white in the glass with fragrant fresh cut fennel and kumquat zest aromas. Minerality and citrus intertwine on the palate, with touches of yellow peach pit and wet stone character. Medium-bodied, fresh and juicy with racy acidity. This delicate blend is ever-so-subtle yet undeniably complex.

The Marsanne is handled a little differently than our other whites. We pick on the early side of ripeness, while acidity is crisp and pH is low. The hand-harvested grapes were whole cluster pressed, and after a two day cold settle the juice was racked off gross lees to barrel. 100% barrel fermented in neutral French oak followed by malolactic fermentation. After 6 months on the lees we racked clean to stainless steel for blending and rest before bottling. Roussanne was blended in to add weight and complexity to the wine.
