2008 SYRAH – CENTRAL COAST
This one wine represents about half of our total production in 2008. The Central Coast is our “go to” wine and readily available in many retail outlets. We like to include this wine in our broader lineup just to remind you how good it is and what a great value it is.
The wine is a blend from 12 different vineyards in both Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties with the largest vineyard components being: Bien Nacido in the Santa Maria Valley; French Camp in Paso Robles; Chabot in the Los Alamos area and our new Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard in the Edna Valley….cool climate syrah to warm climate syrah and everything in between. The cool climate components bring the spice and refreshing acidity, the warm climate grapes bring the juicy, fruity components.
